In 2006 I was encouraged from a customer and a friend who saw the need for quality eyeglasses at affordable prices, so I created Fashion Forward Optical. It was created on the belief that you could have quality eyewear without paying boutique prices. Starting in the service industry servicing waiters, bartenders and other food industry workers we expanded to contracting with Kiewit, Union Pacific, RONCO, and other unions to provide their safety eyewear and families needs. We opened our Brick and Mortar in Dundee with a focus on the culture of our neighborhood. As the business developed we adopted the moniker “Helping Omaha be Better by Seeing Better” and have not looked back ever since.
